Kitten von Mew will be hosting an exclusive
Blitz Ball at Snitterfield Village Hall on
21st June 2008. There are only 100 tickets and is a 'pre-ticketed event' so no ticket sales at the door! The night will include 40's hits, the Rum Ba Ba Band, basic rations (bring on the spam sandwiches and cakes!!!) and drinks rations. There is no cash bar but you will receive up to 5 free alcoholic beverages in the evening and unlimited soft drinks! Tickets are £12 until 1st May and then £15.50 there after. Miss Mew attended the 1940's event at Crich Tram Museum on Bank Holiday Monday. A fabulous day with reinactors, trams, stalls and the best pie and chips Kitten has ever tasted. Just go for the pie my friends!
On 28th March Kitten von Mew had a photo shoot with Nathan Allan in Banbury. A dear friend and fantastic photographer. Kitten has done a brand new set, introducing Master Durley as 'The Professor' and also modelling a beautiful dress made by her good friends at Whirling Turban.

Kitten von Mew will be performing at the Peekaboo Burlesque night in Sheffield on 17th November. This performance has only been done once before at the prestigious Cafe Royal event, so is not to be missed!

Kitten will be dressed up as her favourite horror character for her favourite band on 1st November at The Jam House in Birmingham selling The Dr.Teeth Big Band's merchandise and dancing til she drops to fabulous jump jive jazz!

On 11th October at 8pm, Kitten will be at the Dr.Teeth Big Band concert at Cox's Yard in Stratford-upon-Avon, strutting her stuff as a cigarette girl, selling the bands merchandise and dancing the night away in support of her favourite band.

Warwickshire Life Magazine September issue is out now, with 3 whole pages on Kitten from page 14 !!! A few misquotes but nothing to disgrace her name and nicely written with 10 pictures... Kitten performed her Marie Antoinette dance at the Charity evening at Cafe Royal, Kitten went to 'Warwickshire College', The 'Bride of Kittenstein' dance and her balloon dance are two seperate acts but were performed on the same night at a peekaboo burlesque show in Sheffield! It took Kitten over two months to make her Marie Antoinette costume, not the fan dance one which only took a day... and Kitten wanted to meet someone in RAF uniform not just military!

PLEASE READ! There seem to be quite a few people going onto The Sun website to read the article on Kitten von Mew. We would like to refer people from doing this as the interview was edited and even fabricated by the interviewer. Such things as "I cut my hair -just like Dita" was changed from "I dyed my hair dark and cut a fringe, quite Bettie Page-esque to begin with..." This is just typical of tabloid junk.

Kitten von Mew featured on Oxford Mail and Oxford Times at the press launch for the Festival of Flight.
Kitten has also been asked to perform at an exclusive charity event for the film industry which will include people from Warner Brothers, Paramount Studios/ Viacom, Disney as well as many others. Chosen over Dita von Teese, she will be performing a brand new burlesque tease created specially for the event with a costume handmade by Kitten and corset my Alexis Black of Electra Designs.
